The Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is a classic and challenging route that follows the footsteps of early Everest climbers before Lukla airport was built. Starting from Jiri, it passes through diverse landscapes, traditional Sherpa villages, and high mountain passes, offering a gradual acclimatization process. The trek leads to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and Kala Patthar (5,545m) for breathtaking views of Everest and surrounding peaks. This longer and less crowded route provides a rich cultural and scenic experience for adventurous trekkers.
